Kampot, Cambodia
A working pepper estate, opening slowly to guests.
Maison Pepper is a modern Cambodian family estate in the countryside outside Kampot: private, cultivated, generous, and rooted in pepper.
The estate is in development. Stays are not yet available.

The Estate
A place with its own life.
Maison Pepper begins as a farm, not a hotel. Pepper is planted first, the land is cared for first, and hospitality is layered carefully on top.
The intention is a small, low-density estate that feels like entering a private home with its own rhythms, not arriving at a resort built around a theme.

The Land
Red earth, monsoon rain, and the Gulf of Thailand.
The countryside around Kampot is a landscape of pepper farms, orchards, red laterite soil, and low tropical vegetation, shaped by monsoon rains and the nearby sea.
Maison Pepper sits within that landscape and that tradition. The estate is meant to be understood through its land: what grows here, how it is cultivated, and how it shapes the days.
The Pepper
Grown here. Tasted here.
Pepper is the estate's primary crop and its quiet signature, appearing in the fields, the kitchen, the bar, and the way the land is laid out.
Black
Berries harvested green and dried whole.
White
Ripe berries, soaked and skinned, then dried.
Red
Selected ripe berries, dried with the skin intact.
Alongside the pepper: mango, coconut, jackfruit, herbs, and other fruit of the region.
Something calmly happening. Nothing compulsory.
The vision for Maison Pepper is a summer house for adults, shaped by the climate and the land.
Morning
Breakfast in the shade, a walk through the pepper, coffee and reading.
Midday
A retreat from the heat, a slow lunch, a book or a game.
Late afternoon
Herb and pepper drinks as the light changes.
Evening
Dinner, fire, conversation, and the feeling that the estate has closed around its guests.
A vision of the estate as it takes shape, not a description of current services.
